Use your profession to self employ

Introduction

Jobs have been hard to find, especially in our country of Tanzania. You have had a lot of monopoly on finding jobs especially in the private sector. There are parts in the private sector that jobs have been given to each other but also corruption has prevailed in employment, someone until you pay the amount of money you can be hired or make a promise to give your first salary is you can be employed. But even looking at the government, job opportunities are not as numerous as in the past where people were guaranteed employment only after leaving school. There are others who have been sent out entirely to study certain professions and when they graduated they were guaranteed employment. In addition, the country's policies are constantly changing. For example in the teaching profession in the past, it was easy to get a job if you studied teaching at all levels but we have seen recently, there is a large group of graduates in the field of art teaching have lost direct employment, so they have found themselves living at home without employment. Despite all the difficulties that appear in formal employment but there are opportunities for self-employment using your profession. There are some basic things you can do to use your profession to earn a living and earn money.

Identify your profession

The first and most important thing is that you understand your profession. Here I mean that you need to know what is within your profession, which you can turn into a product or service that will give you an income. For now don't look at the size or smallness of the income, just look at the opportunities available in your profession. In one way or another there are certain skills acquired from studying a particular profession. I will give you an example, when I graduated from university where the Institute of Planning and Finance (IFM) in the field of IT, there are many things I was taught in that field, but one of which I came out with is computer skills, so to understand my profession I entered one for one in computer and telephone technology. The question is, where did I get that capital? Use the environment to identify opportunities

Education does not end up sitting in the classroom and having just a good certificate. Education must be used to bring about productivity in the community. So the basic thing to do is to look at, the needs of the community around you and turn these needs into an opportunity for you to earn money. I will keep reminding you of what happened when I graduated from college at IFM in 2019. In addition to doing computer repair service at that time there was a great opportunity in the now-defunct business of putting songs on the phone, for me this was an opportunity, meaning what we were doing at the time. that is that people were not able to download songs from the YouTube network as easily as they do now, we now had a "modem" at the time that I came out of college with, so I had to download songs online and add customers to their phones using " USB cable and "card reader" devices that were not as widely available at the time as they are now. This was an opportunity at the time, and we used it to earn a living. So, look at the moment, the needs of your community and use that as an opportunity for income and that need, look at the one that suits you so that you can do effectively and efficiently, in the end it will grow your reputation and become a great provider in the future.  .

Join in groups

Also let me just tell you it is good when you graduate from college and want to be self-employed, try to connect with colleagues who have the same ideas in achieving success. This does not mean that you should associate only with those who have graduated from the same college or the same class or in the same profession, and that means, join people with ideas like yours of wanting to be self-employed using your professions. If you are a different professional, find a way to combine your professions to achieve the goals you set for yourself. Let me point out that when I graduated from college there was a relative named Harrison Makaye, we used to call him Porter, he was studying "Mass communication" and we sat down and started our own service section when we called "Porter and Augu mobile phone clinic", we were people of different professions but we had only one goal to get rid of economically. In our business, We do many things including services "stationery", crafts, computers and phones, photography and other things as game stations and we reached our desire to establish a newspaper, we call "best light". Life went on and we managed to earn a living. What I am trying to tell you is that, do not be alone, connecting power is a very basic thing. There are opportunities to stay in groups, where it will make you mix ideas and come up with something good and profitable. 

Find capital  from using  your ideas 

Here I will also talk, because it has been the cry of so many people about how one will get capital. Let me just say, you probably think you have no way to get capital.

Start with whatever little you have as your capital. When I say anything, I mean look at what you currently have and make that your capital. Mie I graduated from college with things like computers, subwoofer CDs which was my first capital. And moreover it required me to have a certain amount of money for a business which at that time, one hundred and fifty thousand shillings was needed. With the cooperation of relatives and friends this amount of money was raised.

With that said, let me just tell you that your idea is the first capital to start with.
